Who is Botanical Laboratories, Inc.?
A. Botanical Laboratories, Inc. is the parent company of the Wellesse brand of liquid supplements founded in 1988 in Ferndale, WA.

Where are Wellesse products manufactured?
A. All Wellesse Liquid Supplements are manufactured in Ferndale, WA following the strictest current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). Our facility is registered by NSF and with the FDA.

Where can I purchase Wellesse Liquid Supplements?
A. Wellesse products are available nationwide at many retail and club stores and online. However, not all products are available at all stores. Please use our store locator to find a store near you or an online retailer. You can also purchase by calling 800-232-4005.

Are Wellesse products Gluten Free?
A. Yes! All Wellesse Liquid Supplements are certified gluten free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization, GFCO at www.gfco.org.

Why does Wellesse only make liquid products?  What are the benefits of liquid supplements?
A.  In liquid form, key ingredients are quickly absorbed by your body.  Research has shown that nutrients from liquid sources can be more quickly absorbed than solids.  In addition, liquids are easier to swallow than large tablets or pills for some people.

Do Wellesse products need to be refrigerated?
A. No, products may be stored at room temperature or refrigerated after opening. Many people enjoy our liquid products chilled.

What if I don’t like the taste?  Can Wellesse products be mixed with other things?
A. The flavors of natural supplement ingredients may not be to everyone’s taste, and it is fine to mix any Wellesse product with water, juice, yogurt, smoothies, etc.  We do not recommend adding our supplements to very hot items.

Where is the expiration date located on the bottle?
A. Each Wellesse bottle has the expiration date printed on the bottom of the bottle.

Can I still take Wellesse products after the expiration date?
A. Wellesse cannot guarantee the potency of the active ingredients after the expiration date.

When is the best time to take Wellesse Liquid Supplements? Can I split my dose into two times per day?
A. The best time to take any supplement is at the same time each day so it becomes part of your daily routine. It is most important to take them every day for best results. Morning/evening split doses are fine, and sometimes recommended with Calcium.  It is important to remember that Calcium and Iron should be taken at least 2 hours apart.

My Wellesse Supplement has changed color, is that normal?
A. Yes, because Wellesse Supplements are made with natural ingredients that can change color over time. Product quality, potency and purity are not affected.

Is the Wellesse packaging recyclable?
A. Yes, everything is recyclable, except for the blue or white cap in most areas. Check with your local recycling center to be sure.

What if my Wellesse product freezes?
A. Do not freeze Wellesse liquid supplements intentionally.  However, if it does freeze accidentally, it is safe to consume if the bottle is still intact.  Leave the bottle at room temperature until it is completely thawed, then shake vigorously to reincorporate all ingredients.  Do not put in hot water or microwave.
